Erin Leafe is a screenwriter and podcaster living in New York City.

About Erin

Erin Leafe is currently writing this in third person, because it somehow felt less absurd than writing it in first (was she right? I’ll be the judge). Erin is one half of the podcast hosting duo of Learning the Tropes. She started the podcast as a way to force even more people to hear her opinions on romance novels, and as a millennial she is obligated to turn anything that is just for pleasure into a possibility of revenue (current podcasting revenue is zero, but laughs and swoons is infinity).

A former horse girl, current adult woman living in New York City. She spent many years as a bartender in some of the bro-iest, whiskey soaked bars in Manhattan. After those years of character study she decided to move on to the glamorous world of Temping. It was everything she dreamed of and it landed her on the ground level of a dysfunctional start up. Which got her closer to many whiskey soaked bars, and ultimately led her to proclaim "Screw it, I'm going to go write." Since then she has been fortunate to study TV Writing Columbia University, The New School and some guy’s dodgy living room.

Learning The Tropes
